A man wanted in connection with the Friday shooting death of a 24-year-old man turned himself in to the authorities on Tuesday, the Tucson police said.

The man, David A. Gorosave, 25, was booked into Pima County Jail on seven felony charges, including first-degree murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

In the episode on Friday, Manuel Dejesus Nunley was shot and killed around 12:30 a.m. in the 8500 block of East Pantano Crossing. Sgt. Fabian Pacheco, a spokesman for the Tucson Police Department, said Monday that Nunley and Gorosave both had gang connections.

While driving to a house party with his girlfriend, Nunley began arguing with the driver of another vehicle, Pacheco said. The driver fatally shot Nunley and injured his girlfriend with a gunshot to the leg, Pacheco said.

Nunley had been wanted in connection with a September home invasion, the police said.
